International Conference on Geophysical and Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics (ICGAFD)
23-25 June 2025, IUEM – Pole Numérique, Plouzané, France
This international conference is the fourth in a series which aims to gather scholars interested in nonlinear geophysical and astrophysical fluid dynamics. Focus is on vortex dynamics, nonlinear waves, turbulence, mostly in rotating stratified fluids. Results based on theory, numerical modelling or laboratory experiments are welcome.
The conference is co-organised by the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (France) and the University of St Andrews (UK). The three previous conferences were held in Toulouse (ICHRNVI 2005), Brest (ICHRNVI 2009) and St Andrews (ICGAVI 2019).
